Corporations have become ever more pervasive in modern society, and influence decision-making in economics, politics, and even our day-to-day social lives. Corporate governance specifically is the study of the “how” and the “why” corporate decisions are made. Contemporary Discussions on Corporate Governance is a project based out of the Thompson Rivers University Faculty of Law’s Corporate Governance class. This project seeks to elicit new and progressive ideas from a variety of academics, practitioners and students on the subject of corporate governance, and facilitate discussion on how to improve and explain past, current and future models of corporate decision-making.

Contemporary Discussions on Corporate Governance is broken into three areas of focus, bringing together scholars, students, and professionals in the field. These areas include: the Corporate Governance class blog, blog posts from various scholars and professionals on contemporary issues in Corporate Governance, and student research paper abstracts on Corporate Governance.
